The app

MySefa is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add the parts specific to MySefa and the MySefa AI subscription. If the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows. By using MySefa you agree to both.

Your recordings are your responsibility

MySefa records what you point it at. Laws about recording other people differ by place, and some require everyone's consent; you are responsible for having whatever consent your jurisdiction requires, and for not using MySefa to record anyone unlawfully. MySefa reminds you, but the responsibility is yours.

Transcripts and AI can be wrong

Transcription, speaker labels, summaries, to-dos and AI answers are automated and will sometimes be wrong or incomplete. MySefa is a note-taking tool: it does not give medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, is not a medical device, and is not for emergencies. Check the audio and use your own judgment for anything where an error could hurt.

MySefa AI subscription

• Price. US$4.99 per month or US$39.99 per year, or the equivalent shown in the App Store for your country, including any applicable taxes. The price you pay is the one shown at purchase.
• Free trial. New subscribers get a 1-week free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription at the price shown and your Apple account is charged.
• Auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancel any time. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID's subscription settings: on iPhone or iPad, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on a Mac, App Store → your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep MySefa AI until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's rules, at reportaproblem.apple.com. This does not limit any refund right you have under consumer protection law.
• Price changes. If the price ever goes up, Apple tells you in advance and, where required, asks for your consent before the next renewal.
• One person. A subscription is for one person, on all of that person's devices signed into the same Apple ID (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac). Family Sharing is not available for MySefa AI. Please don't share it or use it to run automated workloads; we may slow or pause service that clearly is.
• Monthly fair-use allowance. Each calendar month includes enough for about 100 hours of recordings summarised and about 40 Ask questions across your notes. Actual use depends on length: a long recording or a question that draws on many notes uses more. If you reach the allowance, MySefa AI pauses until the next month; recording, transcription, Apple's on-device AI and your own key keep working.
• If MySefa AI is unavailable, the app keeps working — recording, transcription and your own key do not depend on our servers.

Your data

Covered by the privacy policy. Short version: your notes are yours, we hold none of them, and you can leave at any time with your archive.

No warranty, limited liability

MySefa is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, ACMINC gives no warranty beyond those that cannot be excluded, is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damage or for lost data — by design your data lives on your devices and in your own iCloud, not with us — and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid for MySefa AI in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or remedy you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded or limited, including under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or Quebec's Consumer Protection Act.

Ending service

You can stop any time; your notes and archive stay yours. We may suspend or end MySefa AI for someone who breaks these terms. If we ever discontinue MySefa AI entirely, we will tell you in the app in advance, the free app and your own key keep working, and remaining subscription time is handled under Apple's rules.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version and its date appear here, and important changes are shown in the app before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel MySefa AI and keep using the free app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the place where you live, and can bring a claim in your local courts.
